The Official SOFEX Conference

INEGMA will organize the official conference at Special Operations Forces Exhibition (SOFEX) in Jordan - the region's most prestigious land forces show - for the fifth consecutive time in 2010. Held on May 10, 2010, the Middle East Special Operations Commanders Conference will bring together leading international thought leaders in special forces operations. Unique insights into an array of associated topics, from war-fighting operations to home defense missions, counterterrorist operations, urban warfare and dismounted close combat will be covered.

2nd Security Middle East Show (SMES)

SMES 2011 is the second edition of the Levant's first and only homeland security exhibition and conference. The launch in 2009, in Beirut, Lebanon, was held Under High Patronage of the Lebanese President General Michel Sleiman and with the total support of both the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and Internal Security Forces (ISF).

At its massively successful launch in April 2009, SMES stamped its name as a not-to-be-missed show on the international defense and security exhibitions calendar. SMES attracted over 8,000 visitors and 85 companies at its launch and was covered by more than 90 international and regional media outlets. More than a dozen official delegations from Arab and friendly nations including Ministers attended SMES.

SMES comprehensively covers important facets of homeland security-related equipment and solutions including technologies in border control and management, internal security, critical infrastructure protection, and counterterrorism.
